After 30 years in the industry, I have learned several things concerning satisfactory hair removal. The procedure is as successful as the technician is proficient. In other words --
- if the electrologist is not using enough current (or is using too much);
- if the electrologist is not making spot-on insertions; and/or,
- if the electrologist is uneducated in what is actually producing the hair -- then the procedure will not guarantee great results. Hormonal issues are usually the culprit -- though not always! -- therefore, choosing a good electrologist is vital.
Laser treatments are more suited to people who have large areas of hair they wish to have cleared. Most women with facial hair are concerned about every single unwanted, uninvited hair. I am now seeing an increase in clients who have had laser treatments only to find that they have significant regrowth after several months (or less!). Laser hair removal can be expensive, risky and in many cases, ineffective.

Marian is also a certified massage therapist, specializing in both deep tissue and Swedish massage. She's also a licensed esthetician offering a wide range of skin care options to keep skin healthy in Colorado's sometimes harsh climate.
NEW: Marian is available for chair massages at your social or group functions (for example: bridal parties, baby showers, or anything where a massage would be a nice addition). She typically works on each person in time increments of from 5 to 15 minutes. Call for pricing.
